“Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best basketball player in the world” – Kendrick Perkins ranks Giannis Antetokounmpo as the best player in the NBA compared to other NBA superstars

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has taken the NBA by storm. After becoming one of the best players in the NBA, Giannis became the best player in the world.

That’s exactly what former NBA veteran and current analyst Kendrick Perkins believes. It’s not often that a player of Giannis’ skill set continues to make such significant progress in his development every year. But that’s exactly the type of player Antetokounmpo has become.

The superstar striker is known for his possessed mentality when it comes to his desire to be big. With the combination of length, power and speed Giannis has in his arsenal, his dominance on the pitch cannot be underestimated. Speaking on ESPN’s ‘NBA Today’ recently, Kendrick Perkins went on to say he thinks Giannis Antetokounmpo is “the best basketball player in the world”.

Throughout the 2021-22 NBA season, Giannis Antetokounmpo continued to show why he is such a dominant player. The Milwaukee Bucks suffered a number of key player injuries throughout the season. That meant someone had to step in to get the Bucks to fight in the Eastern Conference.

That’s when the Bucks leaned on their superstar forward. Giannis then posted averages of 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game. He was the main reason the Bucks were able to have such a strong run in the second half of the season.

Eventually, Milwaukee is set to face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. To make matters more difficult, Giannis was without his star teammate Khris Middleton. That didn’t stop Antetokounmpo from single-handedly pushing the Celtics to seven games.

Unfortunately, the Bucks were eliminated, but it wasn’t until Giannis showed how dominant he could be. During the series against the Celtics, Giannis averaged 33.9 points, 14.7 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.

“I think he’s really a global citizen…He’s really someone who can represent a lot of different cultures, at the same time I think he brings real joy to the game… is a commissioner’s dream.” Adam Argent on Giannis Antetokounmpo 💯https://t.co/xSqHAhQYbP

Now is the time for Antetokounmpo to seek revenge after failing in 2021-22. He’s been off to a good start so far as the Milwaukee Bucks have taken care of business on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers. On opening night, Giannis finished with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists.
