Crown’s Olivia Williams keeps things casual in a blue jacket as she tends to her bike – ahead of portraying Camilla Parker Bowles in the Netflix show’s fifth series

She is set to star as Camilla Parker Bowles in the fifth series of Netflix’s The Crown when it releases next month.

And far from the glitz and glamor of the award-winning royal drama, Olivia Williams cut a relaxed figure as she tended to her bike during a low-key outing in London on Saturday.

The actress, 54, opted for a navy jacket worn over a red top as she apparently prepared to go for a bike ride.

Olivia added black pants and a pair of sleek brogues to her off-duty look, while sporting a brown satchel across her body.

The TV star showed off her natural beauty by going makeup free for the outing, while her raven braids were left loose.

Olivia was seen turning to speak to a gentleman while storing shopping bags on the back of her bike.

It comes as Netflix has released new footage from the highly anticipated series five of The Crown – which should take place in the 1990s.

The images, which were posted on the show’s official social media pages on Friday, showed a glamorous Elizabeth Debicki, playing Princess Diana, and Imelda Staunton, playing Queen Elizabeth II.

While a picture sees Olivia as Camilla alongside Dominic West, who plays Charles, looks intimate as they smile at what appears to be fireworks.

Both Williams and West are wearing outdoor coats, and a stately home can be seen faintly in the background.

The outing comes just a month after the death of 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II – after the show was heavily criticized for resuming filming a day after her majesty’s death.

As the show has again been lambasted for its insensitivity to a grieving King Charles III as they are set to show his crumbling marriage to Diana in ‘painful’ detail.

The breakdown of Charles and Diana’s relationship will be a central feature of the new series and paints the then-Prince of Wales as “mean, cold and deceitful”.

The fourth series, which aired in November last year, told the story of Charles and Diana’s first romance.

It was announced last year that Elizabeth Debicki would succeed Emma Corrin and play Diana for the fifth and sixth series, which will cover Diana’s death in 1997.

The show’s sixth season is its finale, with the final two series covering the royal family in the 1990s to 2003, which includes Diana’s death.

The Crown resumed production on its sixth and final series last month in Barcelona after filming was halted for just one day following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The fifth series of The Crown will be released on Netflix on November 9.
